Saturday 18th September I travelled over to Cheshire for the wedding of Jade and Matt. The weather was terrible with driving rain pretty much all day. This did not spoil things though and everybody had a great time. The day started off with a Church ceremony at the St Werburgh’s Church in Chester followed by a short drive to Eccleston Village Hall where the guest were treated to coconut shy, splay the rat and bobbing ducks at this village fete themed wedding. The day started out with a Church service at Barr Methodist Church, followed by a drinks reception at the Sun Pavilion. Below are some images from their day.           no comments On Sunday evening the Master Photographers Association held their annual awards ceremony for the countries leading photographers in their chosen field. Of which the winners of each category would be put forward for the overall title of UK Photographer of the year. We were pleased to have two images up for nomination in the Contemporary Wedding Section of the awards, as this is the only section that best suits our work. We were very pleased to find out that one of the images seen below was one of four images that made up the finalists of this category. Unfortunately we did not win on this occasion, but being in the top four in the UK and receiving an award of Excellence is a great achievement. The winning images can be seen on the awards website. Congratulations to those that won.
no comments I’ve just found out that I have achieved 2 awards of Merit in the Master Photography Awards 2010. The winners will be announced in Birmingham on 17th October at the Awards Dinner. no comments |
