Castle Howard Wedding Photography
Elise and Christopher married earlier in the year. The couple live in the USA and hired the services of The White Wedding Company to plan their Castle Howard Wedding. When Sue White contacted me to check my availability for Elise and Christopher’s Castle Howard Wedding Photography I knew this was going to be a very special wedding.
As with nearly all my weddings I started the day off with the bridal preparation at Elise’s parents house where dad and the bridesmaids were also getting ready.
After an hour of bridal preparation photography I headed over to the Church which was just a short drive away, here I met up with Christopher and the rest of the groomsmen. We grabbed a few shots of the groomsmen prior to the guests arriving. It was raining quite heavy outside so we had to get creative with some shots in the Church.
This was a Mormon wedding and my first visit to this Church, all the guests were seated and I awaited the bride and bridesmaids. The bride arrived in style in a White Rolls Royce full of smiles despite the awful weather.
After the ceremony the guests were treated to drinks in the Church reception before making the journey up to Castle Howard for the afternoons reception. Hosted by Jane Nordli and her fantastic team who are always on hand to ensure everyone feels welcome, especially the couple who are of course made to feel very special.
Having shot many Castle Howard weddings I have to say that each one is different with the couple putting there own styling in place to dress the venue how they want it.
Guests were driven down from the Castle Howard car park by the estate train whilst Elise and Christopher were taken off for photographs whilst the guests enjoyed drinks in the Great Hall. Our photo shoot did not last long. Being a Castle Howard recommended photographer I know all the best locations at the venue so we do not waste any time and ensuring my couples get great images. Even more so when the weather is bad as it was on this day.
This was the first time I had seen rectangle tables in the long gallery which looked stunning with flowers from Where Angels Play, the room looked amazing and was all set for the guests and of course the big entrance of Elise and Christopher.
After the speeches were over Elise through her bouquet before heading off to the Mormon temple in Preston. On departure the guests lined the very short route to the car with bubble canons, for something that bit different.
