Best Wedding Photos 2016 – A look back over my documentary wedding photography.
Best Wedding Photos 2016
2017 has finally arrived and as January is usually a month that I spend on my business. This gives me a chance to look back at my best wedding photos of 2016. As I am also a press photographer documenting events is how I learned my trade nearly 20 years ago. In 2016 I covered 30 weddings throughout the UK from London to York and many places in between, making many new friends along the way. I have to send out a big thank you to all of the bride and grooms that made the decision to book me, and share their special day with me.
Turned out to be a really great year !
Last year I was named as one of the UK’s top wedding photographers by Hen Heaven and also a finalist in the UK Wedding Awards. I visited many new wedding venues. One that stood out was the fantastic Delamere Manor ( the former home of Gary Barlow) and I also covered many, many weddings at my amazing local venues. Swinton Park being one of them having covered six fantastic weddings at this luxurious wedding venue, with many more booked in for 2017.
As well as telling the story of the day, I also create some amazing wedding portraits. These are always a bit of fun and a chance to spend 10 minutes of the day alone together, something that rarely happens on the wedding day. Our after dark photo shoots are very much enquired about, creating some really wow factor images for my clients, some of these can viewed on my other recent blog post The best wedding pictures 2016.
I hope you enjoy looking back at the best wedding photos 2016 if you would like your day captured in a similar manner then please do get in touch.
