The Best wedding Pictures 2016 – The Portraits
This slide show contains some of the finest wedding portraits that I have created in 2016 and can be viewed in the slide show below. It was a difficult task narrowing them down as every wedding has some truly great images. Some weddings have very few portraits where as others have lots. My clients decide on how long they wish to spend on their wedding portraits. Though nearly the whole day is photographed in a photojournalistic style I still like to grab a few moments to create something special for my clients, something they will want to hang on the wall for generations to see. Some of these are taken during the drinks reception, usually when the guests are being seated for the wedding breakfast. This means that my clients are not taken away from their guests for any great length of time. During the portrait session I work with the light to get the best images possible, seeing the light is a craft and something that now comes naturally. Having photographed over 500 weddings over nearly 20 years in the industry I have had plenty of experience in all sorts of tricky lighting situations. The evening shots are taken during our After Dark photo shoots and use a variety of different lighting equipment. These take place between the end of the speeches and the start of the evening reception, if it dark enough and its something that you want to do. The images in the selection have been created at some of Yorkshire, Cheshire, Derbyshires and Londons finest wedding venues including Crewe Hall, Carlton Towers, Chatsworth House, Delamere Manor, Grays Court, Hazlewood Castle, Rudding Park and Swinton Park to name a few.
